WHISPER was one of the best young birds on the 2007 race team. Week after week she was consistently home early. With the exception of her eighth and last race, for seven races WHISPER was never more than 16 minutes away from the first prize in the club. She earned 4th Ace Young Bird in the A Race Series. The father of WHISPER is the SHADOW - AU 03 GFL 493 - a son of Flor Vervoort's PHANTOM owned by Mike Ganus. SUNFLOWER GIRL, SHADOW'S mother, is a daughter of KADET and SISSI, one of Gaby Vandenabeele's top breeding pairs. The KADET won a number of top prizes (click on KADET for race record) and SISSI is a daughter of a son of the PICANOL (1st Provincial Ace) coupled with the nest sister to the RONKER. Mike Ganus liked this pair of breeders so much that he purchased five daughters and bred them to his best cocks. The mother of 461 is BLIKSEM 193 - a daughter of BLAZIN, a fabulous breeding son of Gaby Vandenabeele's super racer and breeder BLIKSEM. BLIKSEM 193 was sold and has bred excellent racers for her new owner. She is also a granddaughter of BLIKSEM BOY coupled with GOLD DUST, BLIKSEM BOY is another outstanding son of BLIKSEM. A number of top prizes have been won in Belgium by grandchildren of the BLIKSEM by top fanciers such as Jos Deno and Gommaire Verbruggen including Verbruggen's 1st National Bourges 2006 winner.
