PRIVATE SECTOR WORK EXPERIENCE:
SOCIOLOGICAL PRACTICE: Over 30 years of experience as an applied
sociologist "putting sociology to work" has contributed to a unique and
seasoned perspective that brings the body of sociological knowledge and
theory to life in the classroom through "applied" instructional
pedagogies.
Residual Technologies, LLC – 1998 to 2003. Conducted an Environmental
Assessment and wrote an Environmental
Management Plan (EMP) for the CrossTimbers Resort and Golf Course, a $10
million dollar public development on Skiatook Lake, Skiatook, Oklahoma. The CrossTimbers
Environmental Management Plan was the first EMP in the nation for a US
Army Corps of Engineers recreational lake.
