HANNAH BLUE 430 is the last racing pigeon sired by the incredible LATE RODE 430 foundation breeder purchased by Mike Ganus from Ludo Claessens.  I know this because I took care of the LATE RODE 430 for the last years of his life.  Mike Ganus sent the LATE RODE 430 to Oklahoma to live out his final days.  He had arthritis and moved very slowly.  I sent him to Kirk and Dr. Paula Hardin, Glencoe, Oklahoma to see if they could relieve his stress from arthritis with various medications since Paula is a veterinarian.  I sent a young hofkens hen to the Hardin's loft with the LATE RODE 430.  The hen was a very beautiful blue out of two of Louis Van Hove's best old-line Hofkens.  The LATE RODE 430 and the beautiful blue hofkens hen raised one youngster which is named after the youngest of the Hardin's two daughters - Hannah.  Fortunately, the 430 numbered ring from 2007 had not yet been used; and so it was used on HANNAH BLUE 430.  HANNAH BLUE 430 is much more beautiful than her picture.  She is a medium-sized hen with plenty of muscle.  She has long beautiful flight feathers and a nice wing.  Her back is very strong and her vent is very tight.  Her eye and eye-sign are breath-taking.  She passes these qualities on to her youngsters.  She has been a tremendous breeder.

In 2008 the 1st place winner in the World Ace Challenge was a grandson of Ludo Claessen's Late Rode 430 who was purchased by Mike Ganus for over 20,000US.
